Privacy Policy
You're probably tired of long privacy policies, those dense lists of "how we collect your information" that send you to sleep and still make you click "I agree." akicode doesn't want to be one of them. The reason is simple: we don't hold any of your information in the first place, so there's nothing to collect and nothing to use.
akicode runs entirely in your own browser, on your own computer. Everything you make, the code you write, the files you save, the notes you jot down, stays on your device and is never sent to us. You don't create an account, and there's no server of ours waiting at the other end to receive your work. So honestly, even if we were curious about your data, we couldn't reach it, and we'd rather not have it anyway. We show no third-party ads, we don't hand you off to other companies to track you, and we use no analytics that build a profile of you. There's nothing to sell, and no one to sell it to.
Someday akicode may add features that need a network connection, like sharing your code with someone else. If that day comes, those features will only ever happen because you chose them, and we'll explain up front what data they involve. Until you turn something on yourself, everything above still holds: what's yours stays with you.
That's all. What's yours stays yours, and we don't intend to change that. Thank you for using akicode.
