Runs in your browser

No installation. Click run to see the result. Python and C++ execute locally with no server involved, and your code is never uploaded.

Graphics, sound, and algorithms

Python supports turtle graphics controlled by keyboard and mouse, matplotlib charts with zoom, pan, and animation, and sound via winsound.Beep. C++ can also use the STL for contest problems.

Breakpoints and step debugging

Click a line number to set a breakpoint, then execute line by line and watch variables change. When a program crashes, it stops at the failing line with every variable's value preserved.

One more thing

A Python interactive shell and a Linux terminal are also available, both running in the browser.
